This equipment is built to cover a wide range of applications. Since every vehicle is different, not every installation will be easy. These products require expertise in the automotive, mechanical and/or electrical disciplines for proper installation.

The Pilot-Pole is an advancement in height pole design.

Lightweight and easy to use. Stores in a 58 inch space.
So strong and durable because its made of a fiberglass composite material It has linear fiberglass matting and is circular wound with additional fiberglass strands.
UV inhibitors are added to prevent degradation of the pole when exposed to the elements. Each section of the pole is wrapped with two layers of the highest quality Nexus® veil which prevents fiber bloom (slivers in your hand), and preserves the integrity of the surface.
The pole has nesting sections that fit inside of each other, and draw out to any desired height. Each section has "stop markers" to prevent extending the pole too far.
The 5 extendable base sections range from 2 inches in diameter to 1 inch in diameter.
The sections are secured into place by turning the "Twist-Lock" grips that are securely pressed onto the pole.
The Pilot-Pole is non conductive, non destructive, and does not have any of the electrical hazards commonly associated with metal poles.
Standard top section is 3/8 inch fiberglass rod and has durable polyurethane bristles to take the impact of low bridges and wires.
Pilot-Pole comes pre calibrated in feet and inches for quick deployment.
Steel mounting tubes are available to fit your application.
Pilot-Pole meets all DOT and Professional Pilot Car requirements.

Pilot-Pole is marked for feet and inches in a way that makes deployment quick and easy.

After the initial set-up, just add feet and inches to the collapsed height.

No laying it on the ground and using a tape measure each time.

Calibration marks are recessed into the pole and now use automotive lacquer for durability.

Eliminate the need for

This is best mirror I've found for watching your Pilot-Pole. Slightly convex for a good view of the pole no matter how much it moves around. Doesn't hit you with such a flash when the sun hits it. Double Suction Cup with aluminum frame adapts to most vehicles.
